Twitter conducted a survey with 1,000 respondents who live in the US, use the network monthly and follow SMBs. Bigcommerce tapped into data from the BC 100, a sampling of 100 Bigecommerce merchants who had strong revenue as well as over 1,000 followers. By studying both successful sellers and loyal customers, here are data-drive best practices to help your business soar.

86 percent Twitter users plan to make a future purchase from an SMB they follow.
39 percent Twitterers follow a SMB to show their support.
