We will be foucsing on SAP PS – integrating with the outside world, in particular Scheduling tools
Chris Foskett from Airbus Defence and Space (ADS) will present The ADS Project Control Process.
In 2004, after the formation of the EADS group a decision was taken to harmonise the financial and project management systems of the constituent companies. This resulted in the UK migrating from Oracle to SAP. This presentation will show how the PS system is currently used by ADS to provide multiple project cost and forecast data.
Nick Warner from Qinetiq will present Using Microsoft EPM 2007 with SAP ECC6.0 and BW 7.0.2 for milestone and cost recording and forecasting, and capacity planning.
The event will also include a guided tour of the site.
John Morrissey from Sandhill Consultants will present Meisterplan – Visibility of Demand vs Capacity in a SAP Environment.
Graphical, real-time ‘what-if’ planning enabling decision-makers to model scenarios, rapidly understand the implications of their choices, and hence agree a realistic, deliverable plan. Working alongside their customers, Sandhill provides consultancy in system integration, data modelling, business process and implementation of Meisterplan to ensure users get maximum value from their SAP investment, their data and their experience.
We will include an update on the Influenceing SAP programme and information on this year's annual conference.
We will also be running a breakout session that we would like everyone to participate in creating a pros and cons analysis of the leading scheduling tools (Primavera, MSP, Open Plan, etc.)
The session will also include a group discussion on how to integrate SAP PS with outside planning tools and what to look out for.
