Man shot on front steps of Logan home

LOGAN -- Police say a 26-year-old man was shot on the front steps of a home in Philadelphia's Logan section Tuesday night.

Gunfire erupted around 11:30 p.m. on the 2100 block of West Spencer Street.

Police say two people on bikes exchanged words with the victim, who was sitting on the steps.

The suspects fired six shots and one of the bullets hit the man in the leg.

The victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

The suspects fled the scene. Police are working to determine what sparked the incident.
