Worldpay Debuts DataEdge For FIs

Worldpay, a payments technology company powering global, integrated omnicommerce, announced news on Thursday (Feb. 22) that it has launched DataEdge for Financial Institutions, powered by the company’s Vivid Data Engine.

The data and analytics tool, through Vantiv (now Worldpay, which processes 40 billion transactions annually across more than 300 payment types spanning 146 countries and 126 currencies), offers banking stakeholders immediate access to insights tied to credit and debit card portfolios, viewed through a single dashboard.

The firm’s financial institution (FIs) clients can now gain actionable intelligence through a single sign-on, web-based offering. DataEdge for FIs is available through Worldpay’s iQ portal. Within the new tool, clients can view two years of portfolio performance, utilizing intelligent benchmarking that compares metrics to other issuers. The company also said performance indicators can be customized for additional research and reporting.

The Vivid Data Engine offered by the company has become the foundation for its data products and “will continue to deliver innovative solutions that enable partners and clients to use data as a strategic advantage to act on trends as they emerge,” said Nicole Jass, VP of Data and Fraud Products at Worldpay.

“Clients using DataEdge for FIs can easily see and manage their card portfolio and optimize growth strategies,” Brent Badger, VP of Data and Insights Products at Worldpay, said in a statement. “With an intuitive dashboard view and an easy export function, board-ready reports can be compiled efficiently, reducing a day’s work to just a matter of minutes.”
