Recently we reported our development team office in Vietnam was underway, we are also happy to announce that ShareRing has officially set up shop in Hong Kong as well! We are very excited to accelerate our progress with the Chinese sharing economy and begin the community build behind it.
China’s culture around the concept of sharing is the most accepted in the world today. ShareRing will aim to play a vital role in shaping the future outlook of the sharing economy in Hong Kong and China.
ShareRing’s CEO, Tim Bos had previously visited the BYD grounds first hand, providing some pictures from his time spent with BYD. By bringing BYD on board with ShareRing, we will provide them a place to have their vehicles on the platform, making it easier for BYD vehicles to be used in car sharing and exploring different types of use-cases benefiting both parties from the collaboration.

Hong Kong already has quite a few sharing economy companies, focused around bikes and car sharing. In fact, there are more cars for sharing in the China/Hong Kong region than anywhere else in the world! We are hoping to increase the presence of BYD in the car sharing platform, making it easier for users to have access to their vehicles.
