Symantec Corp. and NTT Security announced their plans to form a strategic partnership to reinforce web security services solutions to clients across the cloud, mobile, and on-premises.
The coming together of Symantec’s Cloud-Delivered Web Security Services and CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) technologies as well as the key elements of its Integrated Cyber Defense Platform with NTT Security’s threat detection and advanced analytics capabilities, could help the companies improve security services and deliver efficiency and flexibility to customers in their respective digital transformation journeys. The new services will intend to deliver an extensive set of in-depth application controls that are designed to manage the growing use of business and social web applications and improve cybersecurity and compliance for clients by steadily enforcing acceptable use policies.
Symantec and NTT also added that further collaboration in the future could entail both companies sharing threat telemetry information to deliver a more evolved security service range.
