Castle Hill Picnic Concerts are back this summer! Each Thursday (and one Sunday) from June 27–August 29 (excluding July 4), a different family-friendly band performs on Castle Hill’s Grand Allee overlooking Crane Beach. The season kicks off June 27 with Ipswich homegrown talent and feel-good pop funk band, The Far Out.

Starting June 20 and running every Thursday evening until September 19 (excluding July 4), the Sunset Picnic series will feature local breweries and food trucks, live music, and the best view on the South Shore! Pack your picnic blanket and chairs and relax with your friends while watching the sun set over the Boston skyline.

Weir River Farm is also offering two editions of Sensory-Friendly Sunset Picnic Hour on Thursday, July 11 and Thursday, August 8. This program offers a dedicated hour with a reduced number of guests and a quieter sensory-friendly environment. Anyone who would benefit from a limited-capacity visit is welcome.
