Victim in New Castle County double shooting dies

Police are searching for the gunmen who shot two men in Bear, Delaware late Tuesday night.

BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- Police say one of the victims in a double shooting in New Castle County, Delaware has died from his injuries.

The shooting happened around 11:46 p.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of Sandburg Place in the Village of Windhover Apartment Complex.

Two men were found with gunshot wounds to the upper body.

One of the victims, 35-year-old Ira Hopkins died Thursday from injuries sustained in the shooting.

The suspects are described as three armed black males in hooded sweatshirts.

They were last seen fleeing on foot in the direction of Smalley's Dam Road.

No word on a motive or any suspects.
