Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing celebrates 25 years since release

Spike Lee's Oscar-nominated film Do The Right Thing was released on 30 June 1989.

Lee wrote, directed and starred in the film, which was shot on one block in New York City's Brooklyn borough.

The community is celebrating the film's 25th anniversary with a block party and has even proposed renaming the street to commemorate it.

Lee sat down with the BBC to reflect on the film and what he plans to do next.
