Store owner shot and robbed in Hunting Park
HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- Police say a store owner was shot and robbed in the Philadelphia's Hunting Park section early Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at 12:30 a.m. along the 3600 block of North 7th Street at a small variety store.
The owner was locking his front door when he was approached by two men who fired a gunshot into the air.
The victim fell to the ground and the suspects took $400 from his pockets.

The suspects then shot the store owner in the thigh before fleeing north on 7th street.
They were last seen entering a silver colored SUV.
The victim's wife drove him to the Temple Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
