Community Housing Transformation Centre
Luc holds a degree in public management and has always loved working in the community and social economy sectors. He is known for his perseverance, his ability to easily connect with people and his capacity to overcome challenges. Those traits are what made him succeed in his attempt to cover the distance in a 15-month trip kayaking from Montréal to Mexico in 2015. Through his work at the Réseau québécois des OSBL d’habitation housing alliance, he helped housing projects in small communities to get back on their feet and established new partnerships. As a program manager, he has been dedicated since the Centre’s launch to improve support for the sector.
Chrissy Diavatopoulos

Community Housing Transformation Centre
Chrissy is program manager for the Community-Based Tenant Initiative Fund (CBTIF) at the Centre. Passionate about community development and social justice, Chrissy has worked in the non-profit sector for 10+ years in both front-line and leadership positions. Her experience is largely in community work and popular education with immigrant populations and marginalized communities. More specifically, she managed a department in a community centre offering diverse programs and services for adults, she coordinated an employability program and she provided training and developed pedagogical materials. She holds a master’s degree in sociology and has lived and worked in Montréal, Toronto and Santiago, Chile.
