Today was my second visit to this fabulous establishment. I was not disappointed. I love that their food is very tasty and thoughtfully prepared. The food is prepared fresh and their ingredients are fresh.
It is so refreshing to go to a restaurant where the staff are friendly, smiling and actually appreciate your business.
The restaurant was full with dinners today. I did note that it was very quiet in the dinning area... everyone was savoring this delicious food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 24, 2024Previous reviewThis was my first visit to this wonderful restaurant. We tried 4 different dishes and they were all very tasty and thoughtfully prepared. This was my first experience eating Korean cuisine and I loved it. The portions are large and tasty. The service was fast. The staff are all very friendly.
This is a very clean and tidy establishment. I will definitely return and continue to try more items and their extensive menu. Their prices are very reasonable as well.
I can't wait for my second visit! - 416533691Feb 26, 20241 check-in
I came here on a Saturday evening for a late lunch/early dinner after a long day, and I was famished. I'd wanted to go here for a long time, and after spending a day on this side, I knew today was the day.
The place was pretty empty when I first arrived. The ambiance and decor are pretty modest. No frills, but clean. I was promptly greeted and seated and was ready to order immediately. I opted for the soju margarita, mandu and galbi.
Everything came out in proper order and without a considerable wait.
The soju margarita was delicious. The soju gave it a nice bite without overpowering the flavor of the margarita.
The mandu was pretty good, but the filling could've used another flavor element (like spice or something fresh) and a lighter fry, but still good when you're really hungry.
The galbi came out sizzling hot and was really delicious. Very tender and well-seasoned. The rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked. I devoured it all.
I left super full and didn't need to eat again until
morning.
Great little spot. Can't wait to come back and try more menu items.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 367290461Feb 18, 20243 check-ins
We have been here a bunch of times now and I can say with 100% certainty that you need to come here.
I'll start with the service. It is fantastic. Obviously everyone is super nice but they are incredibly accommodating to allergies. My significant other has celiacs and the owner actually came out the first few visits to ensure he had options. ( she is so kind every time we come) She explained everything and recommended meals like the kimchi pancakes which she made GF for us. It was so good by the way. Since our first visit, they even added a GF menu.
The staff is pretty knowledgeable but if they don't know they always ask which is amazing.
Every single menu item we have had has been exceptional. If you aren't sure what to get, just ask and they can recommend something that you will most definitely enjoy.
The restaurant has a chill vibe. The tvs are always on and music is playing. We have always been seated promptly and we will continue to come back!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Edward J.Charlotte, NC3124Mar 22, 2024
Absolutely a joy. This small restaurant has been near me for years and I've never gone there - until today! It was amazing and delicious. The bibimbop was delicious and came out crackling and popping and sizzling!
Tastful and flavorful. Great service in the restaurant and I loved the kpop playing.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 15586527Sep 22, 2023
Went here on a whim and boy did we find a gem. One of the best places to get jiajiamen and kimbap. The banchan as you can see are lacking in portion and variety/taste was not the best. However, everything g else was above expectation that they deserve the 5 star!
I'll be coming back to try their cold noodle and their soups next time!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Steph N.Charlotte, NC0246Apr 18, 2024
The bulgolgi and oxtail soup was 10/10! Decently priced and food was great. Good spot to satisfy your Korean food cravings without the hassle of cooking it at a table

My family and I love this restaurant! Everything we order is always so good. Our typical order includes the bibimbap, seafood pancake, cold noodle soup. Last week we tried the jajangmyon and kimbap and both were just as delicious as expected. Portion sizes are great and the service is so friendly and kind. The owner & servers recognize us because we love coming here so much. Prices are a bit high but typical for a Korean restaurant in Charlotte considering how limited they are in this city. They were closed for a bit a few years ago, so we'd much rather pay the price for great food than not have them at all :( Highly recommend!

Amazing Kimbap with dipping sauce. Yes the seafood pancake was phenomenally great and flavorful. Haven't tried much of anything else! Wishing one was closer to Huntersville.

I was in the mood for a hearty meal after driving for eight hours. Luckily Choi's was very close to my hotel.
It's small and cozy and the wait staff is very friendly. I enjoyed a meal of pork belly buns as an appetizer and had the spicy pork entrée. Everything was very delicious.
The buns were fresh and tender and the pork belly was perfectly seasoned. The spicy pork entrée came out steaming hot on a platter with onions and scallions. Excellent gochujang flavor without being too hot. It came with a side of rice and banchan, including potato salad, pickled cucumber, kimchi, and noodles. Of course I had no room for dessert. Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and in the mood for Korean food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
