Shots fired in Wissinoming home invasion

WISSINOMING (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a home invasion in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia.

It happened after 6:00 a.m. Monday.

Investigators say someone wearing a black ski mask barged into a home on the 1700 block of Kennedy Street, fired two shots into a bedroom, and fled with some cash and other items.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect was seen fleeing west on Hawthorne Street in a red work truck.
