In October, Ascension of the Watchers — the industrial-tinged goth-rock project led by founding Fear Factory singer Burton C. Bell — released their long-awaited second album, Apocrypha. The follow-up to 2008's Numinosum (which was released via Ministry main man Al Jourgensen's label 13th Planet), Apocrypha finds the band's original duo of Bell and John Bechdel (Fear Factory, Ministry, Killing Joke) joined by solo artist Jayce Lewis — and possibly a ghost or two, whose eerie, whispery voices may be heard on the intro to the LP's title track. Such supernatural events, along with more easily explained occurrences, are explored in the new Ascension of the Watchers mini-doc that the band has teamed with Revolver to premiere today (November 23rd). Filmed during the making of Apocrypha, the short film takes viewers through the band's origins, stasis and evolution. Watch above.
