Producing and general management firm Martian Entertainment and production company All the Way Around have launched Stage + Screen Digital Studio, a new post-production and editing facility geared specifically toward the budget-constrained theater industry as well as toward micro-budget film and TV projects.

As entertainment marketing has grown to encompass an increasing amount of digital video, Martian (“Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” “Naked Boys Singing!”) and All the Way Around, a company owned by doc filmmakers, teamed up for the new venture when both parties decided last year that Gotham’s legit producers and indie filmmakers needed a technologically up-to-date and reasonably-priced studio for the creation, editing and post-production of digital content.

The aim of the new facility is to charge more affordable prices than larger agencies for services include editing, after effects, color correction and music and audio services.

Stage + Screen, which opened its doors today, is located at 1560 Broadway in Times Square.
