In Indiana, the arresting officer will require the person arrested for DUI/OWI to take a breath, blood, or urine test to determine the blood alcohol concentration (BAC). The person arrested has no say about which of BAC tests or she will take, and has no right to consult with a DUI lawyer before taking the test. Indiana DUI/OWI laws can be particularly tough on violators for these reasons.
