Parisa Mansouri-Rad, also known as “The Marijuana Momma,” is a marketing executive and medical marijuana advocate whose experience as the mom of a special needs child propelled her into the industry.
When spinal fusion surgery to correct scoliosis left her then 15-year-old daughter with a rare, life-threatening condition characterized by chronic abdominal pain, Parisa’s search for palliatives led her to medicinal marijuana.
After witnessing her daughter’s dramatic improvement, Parisa decided to leverage her marketing experience to re-brand the maligned marijuana industry through ongoing advocacy and education of the public on the benefits of marijuana.
Parisa graduated with honors from New Mexico State University with a major in Agriculture Business and a minor in Marketing. She serves as Co-Market Leader for Women Grow Phoenix Market & CEO of MjMomma Consulting LLC, a social media marketing agency.

Most people don’t know exactly what I do, but have heard of the brands our agency represents.
What is your favorite marijuana event? Why?
Women Grow because it was there that I met my now colleagues and friends!

Marvina Thomas, because her business is built on helping others. Susan Hwang for her ability to dominate several markets and regions. DrChandra Macias, Chairwoman of Women Grow Phoenix because she’s a fairy, blessing other women with resources and guidance throughout the industry!
What is in your playlist that would surprise people who know you?

What was your last social media post?
It was about heading to the hospital with my now 17-year-old special needs daughter who’s my cannabis kid. Cannabis is a great medicine and helps my daughter’s many conditions.
