Everybody knows life can get a bit too expensive in London, but the European leg of this year’s Gumball Rally has brought a situation that took this to a whole new level, with multiple exotics, including a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, getting towed away.
Coming from the US, the Gumballers reached London over the weekend. As always with the this rally, while their rides were enriching the London supercar scene, the Gumballers were keen on the partying side of the rally.

As it turned out, some of them didn’t show up to the departure stage, with other attenders believing their "colleagues" had experienced some form of post-party oversleeping. Pehaps something known as "hangover". The Gumball convoy left, but the... charismatic drivers’ vehicles were left on the grid. Since the rally was gone, the grid was instantly demoted to the “street” status.

In a typical London fashion, the authorities were quick to arrive on the scene and take the exotics away, as you can see in the clip below. Fortunately, the vehicles were only moved in order for the road to be given back to the public, so this wasn’t one of those financially painful impounding cases.

Nonetheless, the Ferrari F12 in the adjacent video doesn’t like being taken away from the place where its master had left it.

The Gumballers left for Paris, which was the next important stop of the rally. The 2014 Gumball 3000 is set to reach Barcelona soon and tomorrow they’ll be heading for the final destination: Ibiza.
