Pineville park is located in the heart of Pineville. There is a large pond and several play areas.

I've come to the park for parties, festivals field trips and just to play. The nibblings love the play areas.

There's a good amount of parking and 2 entrances into the park. We normally enter from the Lakeview drive side.

I love how they have areas for smaller kids to play. You don't have to worry so much about bigger kids hurting the smaller kids.

The lake is nice but I don't like how there isn't a walkway around the lake. There are rocks dividing the lake from the grass but I would like a more defined area to walk around the lake.

This park is absolutely beautiful! Well maintained, clean bathrooms and even a splash pad, which I wish I had my swimsuit so I could play in it lol. But next time for sure! Lol. I went on a Friday afternoon and wasn't crowded at all, which was awesome. I can imagine wkends can get insane. They do some free concerts there at the lil amphitheater, I can imagine parking and all can be a hassle then. But just a regular day, it's amazing to go and enjoy without all the crowds and noise.

Walking paths for miles, or at least it seemed like it when I stopped here today to get a little bit of outside time. The park has a really nice playground that is handicap-accessible and one of the swings appears designed for those who might be mobility challenged. That's awesome.

The lake is lovely and you can walk a circuit easy enough.

There is also a really nice bandshell with a stage in front of a sloped grassy area. Cool.

      Lots of parking.

I love this park, so does my grand. The park has a three children play areas, a gorgeous lake, picnic shelters and tables, walking paths and restroom facilities.

The park is both clean and spacious. While I only visited once, I can confirm that parking can be a challenge on weekends, particularly near the primary play area. Opt to park in the lot near the park administration building. There are plenty of spaces generally available.

If you have not been to Pineville Lake Park, you should plan to visit!

This park is super cute and very family oriented. We discovered this park on Yelp one day while in the area with our toddler and I was still carrying our infant. We definitely lucked up with this one as it's very family oriented and spacious with a lot for the little ones to do.

There is a large lake in the middle which is great for looks and adds a level of relaxation for the parents accompanying the children. We've never had to use the restroom while there however recently our toddler and his play date who is female had to go and the restrooms were closed and there was a sign directing people the office like building in the park. Turns out when we approached they had a sign saying no restrooms which is contradicting especially since people were inside working so obviously there were restrooms I just think they didn't want to accommodate the crowd on the first warm day of Spring. This is the only reason I couldn't give 5 stars because how do they expect people to go potty, it would ruin the grounds if people went outdoors.

Overall a great park for a picnic, birthday party (they have tables and a covered area and grills), a play date, some family time and more.

The park is going under several remodeling. I love the Read at Loud along the path on the pond. It's a great way for our children to learn and engage with an adult. There is plenty of parking around, just remember there are multiple way to get to the parking. In the summer there is a splash park too. And the dog park is along side the park too.

Splash park is epic. Just wish it was a little bigger. There are swings and benches and trees to sit under while they play themselves sleepy. Have a picnic. Play. Nap. Wake up and do it all over again. U will love it. Just bring an umbrella or tent for continuous shade. But there are covered areas.

What a beautiful park. Went here today for the first time and had to leave a review. Splash pads are oddly sparse in this hot climate, so I was happy to find one. This splash park is awesome, and the water gets drained, filtered and recycled through the sprinkler. The kind maintenance man gave us the rundown today, I think it's great they don't waste so much water.

There's a large playground split into three areas all close together, a shaded picnic area, and a gorgeous clean lake with a path all around it. Just be careful by the lake rocks. There are water snakes. Won't hurt you but will scare you.

Everybody I encountered was so friendly and kind. Lots of families. They also have bathrooms. I didn't use them so speak of their condition but they are there.

Was happy to discover this place.

Love the lake at this park! Such a nice walking trail, and a big playground for the kiddos too. Definitely recommend!

Clean, nice, fun and wore my kids out! Perfect for me. I took away a start because they was not a lot of shade, I have fair skin and so do my kids and there was not a place for us to hide :) I'm also not a fan of wood chips in my flip flops but that's my personal preference!
