The McLean 5K Run is back!  A certified course through the heart of McLean is designed to appeal to runners of all abilities.  In addition to great exercise, the event will promote Public Safety Appreciation and serve as an opportunity to express our appreciation and respect for the first responders from our own McLean Volunteer Fire Department and McLean District Police Station.   Come out, shake their hands and let them know we are grateful for the outstanding work they do to keep us safe.

Join the McLean Community for the The McLean 5k on Saturday October 7, 2017 at 8:00 am. The start and finish line are located at the McLean Square Shopping Center, 6631 Old Dominion Dr, McLean, VA 22101. 

Registration Fees: Individual Registration is $25 until June 30, $30 through July 31, $35 through October 5 when online registration closes. $40 during packet pick up and on race day.

Online registration will close on Thursday, October 5 at 8:00 pm.

Packet pick up: Friday, October 6, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Old Fire House Teen Center, 1440 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, VA 22101. 

McLean 5k participants will receive a Commemorative Technical Race shirt with their registration. Quantities and sizes are limited, register early to guarantee a shirt. Once they are gone, they are gone!

Race shirts have been ordered.  While we cannot make a guarantee we will do our best to ensure that you get a Mclean 5k shirt in the size you desire on race day. 

Awards will be given to the top two over all male and female winners as well as the top two male and female winners in each of the following age groups: 9 & U, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 24-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over. 

One more reason to participate – The proceeds from McLean 5K Run will benefit the McLean Community Foundation, our local charity that supports all things McLean, from fire trucks to playgrounds to social services. For more than 35 years, MCF grants have enhanced the quality of life in McLean, encouraged civic spirit and supported community projects that we all value.
