Two long-serving South Jersey cops have been accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old.
Atlantic City officer Andre Corbin and Brigantine officer Ralph Pereira, both 43, were both arrested Monday after a lengthy investigation.
It’s not been revealed, however, whether the same teen was the victim in both cases.
Pereira, detained in Brigantine where he lives, was charged with two counts of sexual assault and a count each of endangering the welfare of a child and official misconduct.
He also faces a count of criminal sexual contact.
Corbin, from Mays Landing, was arrested after arriving at work.
He is charged with two counts each of official misconduct and sexual assault, along with endangering the welfare of a child and criminal sexual contact.
Both men were taken to Atlantic County jail on $100,000 bail. Corbin posted the bond Tuesday morning, reports NJ.com.
