31264235Jan 21, 2024Kekes is such a go to when it comes to breakfast. I'm a little sad that the closest one from Miami is all the way in Boca Raton.
I ordered is the five egg whites combo. I like it because it was very filling and it is also healthy. You're getting a nice breakfast without feeling guilty. The service was really good as well. There was no line when we went, but it was starting to pick up the pace. Our waitress always came back to check on us.
This location in particular is a prime one because not only is it close to the Petstore, it is also close to Sprouts. This is a perfect place for a one stop shop.

Thus is my wife's favorite breakfast place on Saturday mornings when I actually get out of bed early and do things in the morning. If I don't take her to breakfast I'm in trouble!Keke's is like most breakfast pints that make standard breakfast fare
..eggs pancakes, and waffles. But for some reason I like this place better than the others. You miight think it's how the food itself tastes or the service ypu get
..but that's not quite what it is.

Meh. Not my favorite place. Food was okay. Since it was post-COVID, we picked somewhere to go to get some food and get out of the house! Ambiance was noisy as everyone had the same idea we did. Service was okay, slow as it was packed and it was under staffed as most places were post-COVID. It was okay, nothing especially memorable.

2452051909Nov 20, 2022Wanted to find a place that offered breakfast after 1 and we got lucky to find Kekes open til 2:30 on Sundays. There wasn't a wait at all and we were seated promptly.
There was a weird vibe between the hostesses at the front counter and that's the reason for 1 less star.
On to the food-
The hot chocolate was very good. Definitely worth it on this cold rainy day. We both ordered the French toast combos. I upgraded to the banana nut carmel which was pretty good. A good place for brunch especially if you like sweet stuff! I got the banana split waffle and my partner got the raspberry stuffed french toast. My meal was pretty yummy, I really loved the addition of pineapple and despite all the crazy stuff on it, it wasn't so sweet to give me a toothache. The waffle itself was good, but it kinda had a funny consistency; very chewy and almost hard to cut like an Eggos waffle. I prefer waffles to be just a little crispy, so it was a little weird but EH. I also got a plain iced coffee, and I was surprised by how much I liked the brew they use, it has a very roasted flavor to it. Overall I thought the food was good, but I think we both wished everything was a little warmer.
Experience was good for the most part, inside was nice and clean, art on the walls is cute, and if you like booths pretty much every table here is one. I came on a Sunday morning expecting the typical brunch rush but it was only a 15 min wait and the food came out quickly.

Stopped here on a whim & had a wonderful breakfast. Our server was sweet & efficient and our food was there in a flash! Hubs had the southwest omelette, complete with jalapeños & salsa. It came with home fries & choice of toast or English muffin. I had the two egg special which also came with the yummy home fries & a. English muffin. I ordered a side of bacon, 5 generous slices. Definitely will stop back again when we are in that part of Tampa!

My husband and I just ate this location and the service was absolute horrible. Our waitress "Faye"was inattentive, as well as rude. As we were leaving normally we go to the register to pay she came up to the register to chastise us as she said we were to pay at the table. I offered to go back to the table and she stated no worries but very nastily. So as we were leaving she states to my husband have a great day and the young lady next to her offered the well wish to me. As I was leaving Faye called me a f-ing B.

Got my usual ham and cheese omelette with the toast and home fries subbed for tomato and bacon. YUM
Hubs got the western omelette with his subbed for tomato and fruit. Isn't that fruit BEAUTIFUL!
Food is always fresh and not greasy. Service is always great!! It's so clean and staff is just on a whole different level. Very friendly and attentive. Food is typically out in no time. Love that you can also sub the toast and home fries for healthy alternatives like tomatoes and bacon. Breakfast was delicious yet again. I got the ham and cheese omelette with tomato and bacon and hubs got the veggie omelette.
May 31, 2021Previous reviewWe've tried the location over near Citrus Mall and it was excellent so since this one is closer to home and we were up early to get some breakfast, we decided to pop on in. Masks required here, in case you were wondering. We arrived around 8AM and we were seated immediately with no wait. Service at Keke's is amazing which is rare to find these days. We've now been to 2 separate locations and the service never skipped a beat. As soon as we were seated, the waitress was greeting us and taking our drink orders. Drinks out quick and she took our food order. I ordered the ham and cheese omelet and love that I can substitute the home fries for a side of bacon (4 strips) and substitute the toast for sliced tomatoes without any extra charge. I can come here and feel good about what I'm eating since the food is not greasy and the options are healthier than other nearby breakfast places. My hubs also opted for an omelet but substitute his home fries for sausage.
If you're looking for a place for breakfast I highly suggest trying Keke's. I'm now addicted and this will always be my go to place for breakfast. They also serve lunch, so I'll have to try them for lunch one day to see what options they have. I'm sure if it's anything like the breakfast it'll be good.
