Santos and August Town will meet in the Masters League mid-season final today at Winchester Park. Kick-off time is 4:30 p.m.

August Town ended the preliminary round on 30 points and topped zone one ahead of defending champions Constant Spring (23), Real Mona (23), and Boys' Town (19). Their only defeat for the season was a 4-1 loss to Constant Spring on July 24.

Second season

The Marlon Small-coached August Town have been doing well in their second season in this competition. They were runners-up in the league and knockout competitions last year. Small will look to Ricardo Monroe (11 goals), Kevin 'Pele' Wilson, David Laylor, Richard Hoo, Desmond Wright, Wayne McGregor and Dwight Morgan to win their first Masters League trophy.

Santos Masters, the champions two years ago, are having a wonderful 2016 season and are undefeated after eleven matches. They won their zone with 25 points, ahead of Nannyville (23) and Park Rovers, (21).

Coach Lyndon Dawes has rebuilt his team and it's paying dividends. He will be looking to the league's joint leading goal scorer Fabian Nethersole (16), Kevin Lamey (11), Locksley Thompson and John Flemming to lead his team to victory.
