  • To gift someone Uber credit, open the Uber app and go to Account > Send a gift.

    • You can also tap Record video to record a brief video to send with your Uber gift card.
    • Tap Preview gift at the bottom to see how your gift card will look.
  4. Once you're happy with your gift card, tap Go to checkout at the bottom, then choose whether you want to send the credit via Message (text message, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and more) or Email, and select your payment method from the menu at the bottom.

  1. Most stores that sell gift cards (grocery stores, pharmacies, etc.) carry Uber gift cards you can load with cash at the register. You can add $15 or more to a physical Uber gift card, and it'll work for both Uber and Uber Eats. This is handy if you want to give a gift card to someone in person or slip it inside a greeting card.
  2. Amazon is another retailer that sells Uber gift cards, and they'll deliver them to your friends or family via email or text message. You can order gift cards of any value from $25 to $100, and unlike ordering directly through Uber, there's no cap on how much you can spend in a single order.
  3. If you want to reward Uber credit cards to your employees, distribute Uber gift cards as prizes, or use them as incentives for campaigns, you can place a bulk order with your Uber Business account.
