Rebecca Herren Woodall, Lake Martin tornado victim

LAKE MARTIN, Alabama -- Rebecca Herren Woodall, 70, who lived on Lake Martin, was killed April 27, when a tornado destroyed the house she shared with her sister, Alice Lee, but her body was not found until the next day, when a cadaver dog found it under eight or more feet of debris.

The sisters were known as fun-loving, and Woodall was a dedicated University of Alabama fan, while Lee, who was also killed in the tornado, was a committed Auburn University fan.

Woodall is survived by two sons and three grandchildren. A joint funeral was held for the two sisters.
