Simeone: “We played well again, but the results aren’t going our way"
Our coach, Saúl and Herrera spoke after Sunday’s match against Barcelona.
Simeone reacted to Sunday’s 1-0 defeat against Barcelona.
“We played well again, and the players are putting in great work. We had chances in the first half and controlled Barcelona. In the second half the game progressively went their way, although we also had chances to score. The results aren’t going our way, we have to work hard,” our coach said.
Saúl praised our team’s performance.
“I think we completed a great game. Barcelona didn’t have many chances, but Messi appeared and he’s capable of doing what he did. We’re playing better every day and we’re giving it our all," the Spaniard said.
Herrera was also pleased with the performance in spite of the result.
"We played well. There are positives to take from tonight's game. We have to keep working hard. If we continue playing this way and creating these chances, the goals will arrive," the Mexican said.
