The North Shore-LIJ CareConnect Insurance Co. Inc. in East Hills named Davin Laurino senior manager of business development. Laurino was most recently with UnitedHealthcare, where he held a variety of sales roles over the past six years.

Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola appointed Dr. Aaron Pinkhasov chairman of the department of behavioral health. Pinkhasov came to Winthrop from Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he was chairman of the psychiatry department.
