After winning the first seven games of the season, Alabama's softball team lost its second straight Sunday afternoon.

The No. 4 Crimson Tide dropped the series at 18th-ranked Louisiana-Lafayette in a 7-0 finale.

The Ragin' Cajuns (6-3) scored two in the first, one in the fourth and two more in the fifth on a light hitting game for both teams.

Alexis Osorio (4-1) took her first loss of the season allowing four earned runs in 4 1/3 innings. The junior who threw a perfect game last weekend allowed just two hits, but walked seven batters to four strikeouts.

Alabama (7-2) stranded seven runners while recording just two hits. The visitors were 0-for-9 with runners on base. Chandler Dare and Merris Schroder recorded Alabama's two hits.

The Tide will be back in Tuscaloosa for a 6 p.m. Wednesday visit from North Florida. It will play just one more road game the rest of the non-conference season with a Feb. 28 trip to UAB.
