As part of the innovation and improvement processes, SAP SuccessFactors will be retiring some features in the near future. Below are some of the key highlights for Platform and Recruiting.

Platform

  1. Replacement of Legacy Picklist Management Tool and Legacy Picklist Import Job

Picklist Center has replaced the legacy Picklist Management tool and most customers have already been migrated to picklist center so this hopefully does not come as a surprise. Once migrated to Picklist Center, the picklist import job becomes obsolete, however you can import picklists using the MDF Data Import (FTP) job type instead. (Since Q4 of 2018 customers have been gradually migrated to picklist center and MDF based picklist). The target retirement date for the legacy picklist management tool is 1H 2021.

  1. Reimagined Home Page

The Reimagined Home Page was delivered in the Second Half 2020 Release. Currently it is an admin opt-in feature. The new home page is designed to value each person’s individual needs. The second half 2021 Release is expected in November (though the exact date is still TBD), and all customers using the Legacy Home Page (HP3/Fiori) will be upgraded to the Reimagined Home Page during the 2H 2021 Release. We recommend being proactive and testing out the new home page, and adopting it before it becomes required late this year. For more information on the Reimagined Home Page visit the Platform Resources Blog.

  1. SAP Jam and SAP SuccessFactors Mobile Limited Integration Transitioning to Standalone SAP Jam Application during 1H 2021 Release

There is currently a limited integration that can be established between SAP Jam and SAP SuccessFactors Mobile. This integration will be removed and no longer supported after the first release of 2021 (scheduled for May 21, 2021). For more details about this limited integration feature, click here.

  1. Legacy Admin Alerts

The plan to deprecate the Legacy Admin Alerts functionality is scheduled for the first release of 2021 (scheduled for May 21,2021). Admin Alerts 2.0 will be replacing the legacy feature, it is available now. In addition to an Admin Alerts tile for the home page and admin center, there is a more modern look and feel as well as better performance. The types of alerts available in Admin Alerts 2.0 include Time Management and Workflow, alerts for Pending Hires, HR data issues for Job Info and Data Replication Monitor. For more on Admin Alerts 2.0 click here or visit the Platform Resources Blog.

Recruiting

  1. Multiple third-party Job Posting Integrations

All legacy job distribution and posting tools will be removed in favor of Recruiting Posting 2.0 beginning in 2H 2020 and spanning to 1H 2022. Please consider transitioning to Recruiting Posting 2.0.

  1. Standalone Recruiting Posting

Those affected are Recruiting Posting (formerly Multiposting) customers currently using, plans to purchase, or upcoming renewal for standalone Recruiting Posting and or Job Credits.

The standalone Recruiting Posting product (formerly Multiposting) will be sunset effective end of year 2022. The only way to use Recruiting Posting after 2022 will be via integration with SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting. For more details click here.
