Thank you for applying to volunteer at our Columbia StrEAT Food Truck Festival! Last year was a huge success, with over 150,000 people attending over the course of the day. This unprecedented turnout could not have been done without our volunteers. It's a fantastic way to get involved in the New West community, try a bunch of different food trucks, and meet amazing people.

We are looking for volunteers to help us over the course of the day, with tasks such as setting up, monitoring areas, answering questions and take down. Many of these tasks are physically strenuous and it is important that applicants are able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. 

As a volunteer you also receive $15 worth of 'truck bucks', which can be used at any food truck, and a Columbia StrEAT T-shirt.

Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability

I hereby release rights to photographs, video and / or statements taken by the Downtown New West BIA to use in possible promotional or educational materials, including the BIA’s website and social media activities. I waive and release any all claims for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators against the Downtown New West BIA, its agents, employees, members and any sponsors, officials and organizers of the Columbia StrEAT Food Truck Fest in conjunction with any injury, illness or death which may directly or indirectly result from my volunteer participation in this event, or from any claim arising in connection with the use of my name or any photographs of me. I acknowledge that I will not receive any financial remuneration for any of the above and that my compensation is the opportunity to contribute to the activities of the Downtown New Wet BIA. I have read and fully understand and agree with the contents of this Agreement, Prior to participating in the event.
