Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) and insurance company Temiryo‘l-Sug‘urta signed a memorandum of understanding on 11 January 2017, which envisions implementation of projects supporting students.
General Director of Temiryo‘l-Sug‘urta Sunnat Umarov and Rector of Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) Sarvar Babakhodjaev signed the document on behalf of their respective organizations during the signing ceremony held at IUT.
Within the memorandum, the parties expressed their intention to realize several projects. In particular, the insurance company is planning to launch a project of grants for IUT students, who are studying at undergraduate level. It is expected that Temiryo‘l-Sug‘urta will finance the tuition of distinctive students.
Temiryo‘l-Sug‘urta and IUT also agreed to organize joint events and contests to promote practical skills and applied knowledge among students of the university in the sphere of insurance business and information technologies.
Furthermore, IUT students will take part in the projects on developing and introducing software products for Temiryo‘l-Sug‘urta with providing subsequent support to maintain them. This will help students to strengthen their practical skills. Within the memorandum, IUT will also provide technical support to information systems of Temiryo‘l-Sug‘urta.
IUT Rector Sarvar Babakhodjaev commented: “Establishing mutually benefial cooperation with the representatives of various industries is one of key areas of the work of IUT. Such cooperation provides opportunity to support students and ensures their participation in real projects. As a result, they strengthen their theoretical knowledge and gain invaluable experience. IUT Administration expresses gratitude to the management of Temiryo‘l-Sug‘urta for cooperation and hopes for a fruitful collaboration.”
