ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) –  A group of innovators from St. Louis Makes  are taking part of the Insights and Innovation Event over the next couple of days presented by Maritz.

Senior director of Insights and Innovations of Maritz Tracie Gildehaus discussed how this event will be intertwining different domain expertise.

There will be over 47 speakers from St. Louis community and nationally. Founder and executive director of St. Louis Makes Marc Bowers will have professional designers and  student designers that are hopeful to create new products and new jobs in the region.

Sean Newman, one of the members of the Betaversity team, created a jack-o-lantern with Kim Hudson’s face on it that could be anything from an ornament to a Halloween decoration.

Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, will be at the event taking place September 27th and September 28th starting at 7:30 a.m.

The Innovation by Design Summit has openings for corporate innovators and anyone else to attend.

The event is open to the public at $450 per person.
