"We met within a mile of where we spent the majority of our childhoods. I had just begun working at a new job managing apartments, and Luis was a security guard at the apartment building. After a few months of getting to know one another, we started dating in the summer of 2013. Luis proposed in Aruba in May 2016 and I started planning the wedding right away. When we saw Linden Place we knew it had the perfect balance of charm and elegance, yet a comfortable feel of the outdoor garden and carriage house. The venue blew us away! Throughout the process of planning the wedding we have kept the focus on our common goal to enjoy the day with each other and the most special people in our lives. It has been hard to keep our wedding count low but we really wanted to enjoy our time with everyone. I come from a smaller family where weddings are few and far between and Luis' family has not had many weddings either. This will be a fun time for both families and all of our friends (or at least we hope!) Garden/Romantic/Rustic/Whimsical would be the key words to describe the theme we were aiming for." - Sheila
