Join celebrated playwrights Wallace Shawn and David Hare as they come together to discuss Shawn's newly published book of essays Sleeping Among Sheep Under a Starry Sky, in this very special event at JW3.

Wallace Shawn is a playwright, screen actor and essayist. His plays Aunt Dan and Lemon and The Fever have been staged all over the world with UK productions at The Royal Court. His play The Designated Mourner was directed by David Hare at the National Theatre in 1997 starring Mike Nichols. As an actor he gave one of the great performances as Uncle Vanya in Andre Gregory's 1994 film Vanya on 42nd Street.

David Hare is a playwright and screenwriter. His most recent play Straight Line Crazy, about the New York urban planner Robert Moses, was staged by Nick Hytner and Jamie Armitage at The Bridge Theatre in London and at The Shed in New York starring Ralph Fiennes. His volume of essays and poems We Travelled was recently published by Faber.

Signed copies of works by both authors will be on sale after the event.
