EMERSON COLLEGE (MA) SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Dean's Scholarship:
This scholarship is given to incoming students at the top of Emerson's
applicant pool who have demonstrated academic distinction within their school communities as well
as qualities such as leadership, ability to manage adversity, and other factors important to success
as an Emerson student. For students entering the College in 2012, the amount of the Dean's
Scholarship was $14,000 annually. Students are required to enroll full-time and maintain a 3.0
cumulative GPA. The award is renewable for up to eight semesters. No additional essay or
application is required to be considered for this scholarship.
Trustees Scholarship:
This is a half-tuition scholarship given to applicants accepted into the Honors Program. Students are
required to enroll full-time and maintain a 3.3 GPA (3.0 GPA in the Honors curriculum). It is
renewable for up to eight semesters. A separate Honors Program application must be submitted
with your admission application in order to be considered for this scholarship.

2. FERRIS STATE UNIVERSITY (MI) INTERNATIONAL STUDENT
ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship would be awarded to a full-time undergraduate
international student or a full-time graduate international student who has completed at least one
semester majoring in any program at Ferris State University.
The scholarship may also be awarded to an incoming international student. The applicant shall have
a minimum 2.5 GPA at the time of application. Financial need is not a criterion.

CARROLL UNIVERSITY (WI) OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ALL
UNDERGRADUATE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS - NO
APPLICATION FEE
Carroll University, located in Waukesha, Wisconsin, offers substantial financial aid awards for all
undergraduate international students. Undergraduate international students are eligible for
scholarships, grants, and campus employment. Average awards range from $16,000-$21,000 each
year and are renewable for up to four years.
Carroll University does not charge an application fee and students are automatically considered for
financial aid at the time of application.

FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON UNIVERSITY (NJ) SCHOLARSHIPS FOR
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA-DAVIS (CA) PREPARE FOR
GRADUATE STUDY IN THE U.S. THIS SUMMER!
International Summer Sessions at University of California, Davis now
offers courses and workshops designed to help international students prepare for graduate study in
the United States. Visiting students can sharpen their language skills by enrolling in summer
classes in their major or Summer English Language Studies courses in Academic Reading and
Writing, Academic Preparation and American Culture.
In addition, enrolled students will have the opportunity to attend a free workshop series on the
graduate school application process. Topics include “Applying to Graduate School,” “Tips for Writing
a Statement of Purpose” and “The UC Davis Graduate School Application.”
Students must enroll in a minimum of six units in one or both sessions and can choose from
courses in more than 75 departments. To be eligible, students must have graduated from high
school and must have an English proficiency score of 80 iBT (or equivalent).
