The Sweet Colleens, Chastity Brown, Heiruspecs, White Iron Band and Charlie Parr are among the (mostly) local acts set to play Grand Old Day on June 1 on St. Paul’s Grand Avenue.

The all-day festival boasts 13 acts performing on five stages. Wristbands that allow access to the stages are $8 the day of the event or $6 in advance. Two additional stages will offer free, family-friendly music.

Returning this year is the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, which will take place on the Dixie’s stage at 11 a.m. The top male and female finishers will earn a trip to compete at the July 4 finals in New York, which will be televised by ESPN.

For the complete Grand Old Day schedule and information on purchasing wristbands, see grandave.com.
