TORONTO –  Mayor Rob Ford and his team say they are expecting thousands to attend the official launch of his re-election campaign this evening.

The event will take place at the Toronto Congress Centre on Dixon Road at 6:30 p.m.

The mayor’s campaign manager and brother Doug Ford told the Toronto Sun that it will “make the other campaign launches look like a tea party.”
