Family Friday & Silent Auction
On Friday, April 18 at 7:15 PM, get a glimpse of some of our programs at the CMC Showcase Concert - a demonstration of the amazing musical skills of our students.  Performers include a Suzuki violin class, an Orff Instrument Ensemble (xylophones and other percussion instruments), and advanced instrumentalist performing virtuoso solos.  All ages welcome!

It promises to be a really good Friday, because our Silent Auction launches that evening as well, and runs through May 4 in the CMC lobby.

Admission is free, with suggested donation of $5.00 ($15 for a family of any size) for the concert.   There is no charge to view items or place a bid in the auction, so it is easy to win big!

The Family Friday series is sponosred by Larkins Vacura; this concert also sponsored by Papa John's Pizza at SE 33rd & Powell as part of the Making Musicians FestivalSupport this event!

Making Musicians Festival 2014
Sponsored by Kennedy Violins

It has begun!  Help our students - sponsor their spring performances, now through June. They'll be raising CMC scholarship dollars for those who can't afford music lessons on their own.  Your support also helps the students become eligible for prizes.  Some students have even set up their own fundraising pages (donations still go to CMC Inc.).  See the list of events and the MMF page at www.communitymusiccenter.org for full details, and give it up for a more harmonious community!

Finale at CMC for Alum/Instructor

After 25 years at CMC, first as a student from her preschool years through high school graduation, then as a Suzuki violin & viola instructor at the Center, Elizabeth Knopp has announced she is moving to Minnesota to be with her new husband.  We'll miss her presence at the Center!  Join us as we wish her well at her final student recital at CMC on Monday, April 14 at 5:30 PM, followed by a special reception.

This recital is part of the Making Musicians Festival and is sponsored by Townshend's Tea Co. & Papa John's Pizza at SE 33rd & Powel.  Support this event!
