The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education is one of the very first urban environmental education centers in the country. Their Preschool teacher Nicole came into The Resource Exchange to find creative teaching materials for her students. After visiting the re she said, “As a teacher in the Nature Preschool at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education, we are always on the look out for interesting, natural, reusable, and visually appealing materials for the children that encourage exploration and discovery of the world around them through play. The many ‘loose parts’ that The Resource Exchange has to offer are great for our program…we look forward to more wonderful materials from The Resource Exchange.” Nicole was able to use some of our reclaimed tile samples, art slides, and felt pieces with her students.
