IVC PSFA / Ignite Programme Vacancy for an Alumni Liaison Volunteer
The IVC PSFA ignite programme enhances the learning of students by utilising parents’ skills to actively support the school. As part of a drive toward winning more resources, IVC would like to maximise its exposure amongst Alumni supporters, with the aim of fundraising in two main areas:
- Crowdfunding particular projects through ‘My Donate’
- Securing legacies
To do this, we would like to produce a digital termly newsletter (3 times a year), which encourages Alumni to support the above areas.
Resources available
We have a large database of Alumni email addresses, on a system that can send bulk emails to the recipients.
My Donate is all set up and ready to go, to receive gift-aided donations.
A lot of content, in terms of facebook posts that could be re-purposed to a more ‘newsletter’ type format
The newsletter could be hosted on the IVC website
Resources to be secured
A graphic designer to layout the newsletter? May not be necessary.
Time Commitment
Setup
- Meeting with Lisa to scope the project - 1 hour
- My Donate training with Lisa - 1 hour (or less)
- Alumni database training with Amy - 1 hour
- Working with graphic designer - 1 hour (may not be necessary)
Ongoing
- 2-3 hours per term (3 times a year)? Including:
- Weekly monitoring of IVC facebook page, to copy over items that would be of interest to Alumni supporters.
