Readly, a service touted as the Spotify of digital magazines, has launched in the UK.

For a monthly subscription fee of £9.99, users can download and peruse more than 100 popular magazines from Britain's leading publishers.

Readly was previously released in the US and Sweden, and all titles from these territories are available to UK readers, taking the grand total of magazines on offer to 418, of which 261 are written in English.

British publishing partners include Haymarket, IPC, DC Thomson, and Time Out, bringing titles such as NME, Amateur Photographer, What Hi-Fi, the Beano, and Uncut to the service.

All new issues will appear on the service upon release, and subscribers will have access to one year's worth of back issues.

Readly is now available as a downloadable app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, Android, Windows 8 and Kindle Fire tablets.
