About Raja Srinivas

In 2017, Raja Srinivas cofounded Asimov, a synthetic biology startup spun out of MIT. In 18 months, its raised $4.7 million from firms including Andreessen Horowitz, and is trying to reprogram living cells using networks of DNA-encoded genes that can sense and respond to the environment. These programmable cells could be the next generation of treatments.
