Spencer, IA (KICD) — The Clay County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Committee has announced grant applications are being accepted for the newly revised Clay County Tourism Grant.
The funds are available to any business, group or government entity or person that occur within Clay County and are designed to reinforce Clay County as a Tourist Destination.
There is currently $40,000 that may be awarded annually. The awards will be done through application rounds, with $20,000 available for each round of funding.
Applications for the second round must be submitted no later than 4:00 PM February 1st, 2018. Award notifications will be sent out March 1st.
