If you want a 590 horsepower supercharged 5.0-liter V8 sedan with all-wheel-drive and you like how the Jaguar XE looks, there’s now a car for you.

Today, Jaguar announced the XE SV Project 8 as the “most powerful road legal Jaguar in history.” A camouflaged car has been lapping the Nürburgring and now, I assume, Jaguar would like to start the bidding.

The XE SV Project 8 is the second “collector’s” car from Jag’s Special Vehicle Operations outfit, and its 590 horsepower does in fact make it the most powerful production Jag, beating even the current F-Type and classic XJ220 supercar.

The Project 8 will tentatively go on sale next year, and a grand total of only 300 cars will be sold worldwide. More details will be revealed on June 28th. I’m a little surprised they went with the XE for this one, but I’m also excited to see just how crazy they can make it.
