Founded in 2016, Mission-Driven Finance (MDF) is an impact investment startup based in San Diego connecting socially minded investors and mission-driven organizations with unique opportunities that produce a financial return as well as social or environmental benefits. Functionally, MDF has two branches: one corporate arm that raises investment capital from socially-minded investors and one nonprofit arm that provides technical assistance to nonprofits and social enterprises seeking impact investments, borrowers, creating a larger pool of viable deals for any impact investor to support.
