4 DAYS Left to Howl for the Wolves

Please forward this to all of your friends,
and tell them to schedule a visit to Play With the Wolves.
The more people that meet our pack up close & personal, means there are more people who will want to save wolves.

Tell the United States Fish and Wildlife Service  hat wolves are vital to the environment, and must continue to have federal protection!!!

The deadline to submit your comment
is midnight, March 27th.

Please also tell Interior Secretary Sally Jewell and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Dan Ashe to withdraw their plans to remove wolves from the list of endangered species

You can use this letter supplied by WildEarth Guardians or
send an email directly to Interior Secretary
Sally Jewell at [email protected] , and Fish and Wildlife Director
Dan Ashe at [email protected].

Three years ago,Congress removed gray wolves in the Northwest from the Endangered Species List leaving their fate up to state management. A year later, gray wolves in the Great Lakes region lost their federal protections. Now the U.S.Fish and Wildlife Service wants to remove federal protections from all gray wolves in the lower 48 states.

However, a panel of scientific experts just issued a  report saying that this is not based on the best available science; wolves in the lower 48 states are not yet recovered enough to lose federal protections. Judging by what has happened in the Northwest and Great Lakes region this policy would place the few wolves that do exist in grave danger. In the states where wolves have already lost federal protection, more than 2,600 of them have been killed in just two years; imagine the death toll if wolves lose their safety net across all states!
