Students Hold Town Hall Meeting with Congressman Antonio Delgado

Congressman Antonio Delgado paid a visit to 11th and 12th graders at the Jr./Sr. High School on Friday. The students worked in their ELA and social studies classes to research the Congressman and prepare questions to ask that were of specific interest to them. The questions were posed by the students for the Congressman to address in a Town Hall meeting style. The students asked about many issues, including concerns surrounding the conflict in Ukraine, the economic struggles facing farmers and the high costs of goods, funding volunteer firefighters, rising gas prices, issues facing the LBGTQ community, and transgender competition in collegiate and professional sports.
