I devoured this book! The characters were lovely, very touching and real. The entire story was so original that I had no idea how it could possibly end. Ms. Black sated my curiosity quite perfectly! Oh and the steam factor? Amazing!

I absolutely loved this story! Cursed Desires had me riveted from the first chapter.
We meet a married couple, Gabe and Kara, celebrating their seven year anniversary on a mini-holiday. On their last vacation night, they take a tour of a haunted cemetery. They had no idea that they would be bringing home more than their memories of the vacation.
Finding herself back at home and alone while she finishes writing her next great novel ( I loved that she was an author ), she begins to notice signs that she is not as alone in the house as she thought. After being scared for a few days by what she has been experiencing, she decides to confide in Gabe with what has been happening. Skeptical at first, he plans on proving to Kara that there is a logical explanation for what she has been seeing and feeling. When they both witness the truth, that they are not alone in their home, things become really interesting.
We meet William, a poor soul who has been lost since the 1800’s, and has attached himself to the couple. As Kara and Gabe come to terms with their new guest, friendships are formed, and some lines become blurred. As the trio find themselves becoming closer, a new presence emerges to try and pull them apart. I will not give the ending of this book away, but I will say that it was extremely well done.
I cannot say enough about the talent of C.E. Black. You don’t just read her words, you feel them. Her characters steal a piece of your heart, while her descriptive stories weave a vivid image in your mind. I thoroughly enjoy her work, and know that I will continue to do so in the future. I highly recommend C.E. Black to anyone that loves to read paranormal romance. A true talent in her field, she never fails to deliver a book worth reading. Well done, C.E. Black!

Wow hot, hot, hot!!
Well I could not put this down. I read it in one sitting. C.e Black you have written one hell of a steamy story. This was very original, I have never read anything like this before which is so refreshing. Great flow to the storyline and easy to read. Excellent I would give more stars if I could!!

***Won this book in a contest*** What an awesome sexy ghost story. I couldn’t put it down. I stayed up till 2 in the morning finishing it. It had everything you could possibly want in a steamy ghost story. I'm looking forward to reading more of C. E. Black's works.

Mysterious and passionate
Love knows no boundaries so I've been told. This story brings an unhappy ending to a possibility of a wonderful future back into a rollercoaster. oh so worth the ride! I wish I could read this for the first time again.

Gabe and Kara are a very loving couple. They accept each other with all there querks. When Kara gets attached to a ghost called Will, both their lives change.

Well this is a fun, interesting twist on the paranormal. I like it. The book is a quick, fun, steamy read. I am glad there is another book after this one cause I want more.

When I started reading this book I knew that there would be some paranormal fantasy to it, but I had no idea that there would be a love story to it as well. This book was unlike anything I have ever read. It was definitely a change of pace for me. I love paranormal and erotica books and in this one C.E. Black gives you both of those. The story is well written and gives you great detail as to what is happening. You really feel Kara's nerves and apprehension as to what is happening. You also have to love Gabe for his understanding of the whole situation. I loved the relationship between Kara and Gabe, it seems solid and there love for each other is apparent. When William appears in the story I was intrigued as his character was written in a way that I had never read before. I enjoyed the dynamic between the three. The book flows well and keeps you turning the page. This book does have some very steamy sex scenes but there is also a mystery that is lurking in the shadows that kept me on the edge of my seat. I was shocked as the mystery unfolded but really enjoyed that you get Williams insight as to how the past had happened. I kept thinking that I knew what was going on but then the author took it in a different direction. As I was reading the book I wasn't really sure what to think about what was happening between the three characters, in the end though I really appreciated what the author had done with them and the way things ended was perfect. Kudos to C.E. Black for writing a ghost mystery with a romantic twist.

Cursed Desires? What a truly sinfully accurate title for this story by C.E. Black. I couldn't believe how wonderful and awe-inspiring this romance was. I LOVED the opening of the book. Its not often an author can start with a wickedly hot sex scene and make the story come alive even more after that, but I have to give credit to Miss Black because she pulled it off beautifully! I found Cursed Desires to be intense in the best way with a romance that was both astounding and sexy and the ghostly encounters to be just the icing on this perfect cake. There was a smidgen of mystery which I thought was really cool to behold, and the sex was no doubt, some of the best I have read in romance books.
Kara and Gabe are just a fun couple who are still in love with each other even after several years together. When we added the ghost to the mix, it just heated things up more and made this book a unique romance with some paranormal activity thrown in the mix. I loved the different contrasts and the writing style fits the book. I can't imagine having a single thing change in Cursed Desires nor do I wish anything was different..well except maybe to have it longer. *Grins*

I absolutely adored this book and it was nothing like i thought it was going to be and that made me enjoy reading the book even more! The way that the author is able to write, you are drawn into the story making it feel very realistic in all the descriptions of the plotline and the characters within it.
This is not a super long book but there is a lot in this book, it doesn't feel too much though, it's the right amount of everything for this book. The storyline was brilliant and i loved every second especially how you see an insight into the past and how certain characters felt and dealt with the situations that were handed to them. It is a thrilling ride with many surprises lurking around corners.
The character i loved most was Will, i found myself just dying to know more about him, who he was, where he was from and just to see inside him, see what had meaning for him.I really can't say too much more as i don't want to give his character away. The thing i loved about Gabe and Kara was how secure they are in their relationship, there is no secrets between them and the love for each other shines around them like a physical thing and that was an amazing thing to read!!!

Passionate, loving, and a little kinky are words to describe Gabe and Kara, they have a wonderful relationship which you really feel.
When on a holiday they go on a ghost tour.....but just happen to bring something back home with them. Is it scary, no but it is exciting. I loved watching Will develop and how well he fitted in with Gabe and Kara.
Life/death isn't easy though so expect some angst and emotions mixed in with this loving and sexy read.
The story and writing flow so well in this book, you really are in there on the characthers journey.
Make sure you have time to read book in one go though as you won't want to put it down!

I loved the beginning. It had me grinning and seriously blushing. CE knows her niche is paranormal, no matter what the type—vampire, werewolves and now ghosts. And damn are they all so freakin’ hot!
The scene with Will had me feeling the overwhelming love between the three of them and I loved it. She worked in all the angles dispelling any animosity and I loved the reach-backs into time. This was feel book that made me sad near the end, damn you! But alas she pulls it off. Whew! From beginning to end you can’t help but fall in love with the characters. I recommend completely.

What a fun and frisky ghost story! When Kara and her husband Gabe take a tour of a cemetery one night I'm sure they never imagined how it would change their lives forever. After some strange things start happening at home Kara realizes something may have followed her home from the graveyard that night. Lucky for her it was a very sexy something and things definitely get hot and steamy from there!
I really liked the characters and also how we got to see some of Will's history. The story wrapped up a little too quickly for me but it was still an enjoyable guilty pleasure and in my opinion worth a read.

OMG I loved it, Gabe and Kara the love and exceptance of eachother, it was funny, sexy and a mystery all in one, I was shocked on how much I enjoyed this book and I want so much more of her books to. Once I started it I couldn't put it down. It grabbed ya and held you, the naughtyness wasn't ranchy, it was sexy and so worth buying and reading. She did such a awesome job writing this book..The mystery was awesome..JUST WOW!!!! I recommend this book to anyone who love sexy, funny and mystery all in one..It is a fantastic book and I will be reading all of her books, cause they have to be just as fun as this one was...Loved it and I am so glad I got to read it.

I absolutely love paranormal books so I thought I’d give this one a try and I was not disappointed. This is the first book I’ve read from this author so I didn’t know what to expect but it was a really good read. I enjoyed Kara, Gabe and Will’s story and if you’re looking for a steamy and entertaining paranormal read with a bit of mystery, then look no further but if you are not into M/F/M reads this is not the book for you. I think the interaction between the main characters was done well and although I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve read M/F/M type books, I enjoyed this one and it’s even better that it’s a standalone.

Wow I never would have thought that I wanted to be haunted. Cursed Desires was a deliciously steamy book. It was full of spirit and depth. I fully enjoyed Cursed Desire. Kara and Gabe have such a strong relationship. When Kara starts to experience things at home, Gabe is able to help her. It was wonderful to see them work together and be a couple through their haunting.
The book did go back in time for a bit of the mystery to explain what was happening. It was not overly done and blended well with the story and the characters. The ending had a marvelous twist on it.

Author C. E. Black is finally showing us all her talent! Excellent book! Loved it through and through! Not your average paranormal romance. With wickedly delicious romance scenes it's not for the weak of heart. You won't be able to put this book down! The author grabs your attention from the very start and doesn't let go. Very excited to see what C. E. Black comes out with next and if there is more to come from Kara, Gave and Will.

What we have here is an author whose protagonist is an author, yet this same person desperately needs a refresher course on the proper use of pronouns and apostrophes. Overall, the story isn't bad, but the egregious misuse of I, me, and apostrophe S make reading it somewhat painful.

Wow! I loved this book, even though it was far from my usual reading matter.
The story line was original and the pace of the book kept me reading..I needed to know what happened next..so much so that I read it in one sitting.
The characters were well rounded and easy to like which made me even more invested in the story.
Can't wait to read more by this author.

How on earth did I miss the M/F/M warning? I mean its right there spelled out in black and white. Not usually my cuppa tea but then I surprised myself by enjoying this ghostly threesome.

I love C.E. Black's books. This one was different than any I have ever read but the way it was written made me keep turning the pages and I'm so glad I did. If you like BBW you will like this just be ready for a twist of the norm.
