On Monday, May 15, Round Rock Police arrested M’Kenzie Allen Marzett, 19, of Hutto, for a robbery that occurred on May 10 at the 7-Eleven convenience store  at 2680 Gattis School Road.

After police released surveillance photos, a tip from a citizen led police to the suspect’s whereabouts. The U.S. Marshalls Office took Marzett into custody without incident in Taylor.

The morning of the robbery, two suspects entered the store. One of the suspects, identified as Anthony Rheinholtz, attempted to take cigarettes, and then the other suspect left the store. Rheinholtz remained in the store and began to fight with the clerk. A third suspect, later identified as Robert Joseph Uribe, 18, fired several shots from the exterior of the store. No one was injured and Anthony Rheinhotlz was arrested for his involvement on the same day. The two additional suspects remained at large.

During the Red Hills Villas shooting that occurred on May 11, detectives determined that M’Kenzie Marzett was involved with the shooting of two victims. Currently, additional aggravated robbery charges are pending against Marzett for his involvement in the Red Hills Villas shooting.

“We’re thankful for the full cooperation of the Pflugerville Police Department and many of our other law enforcement partners in safely locating the suspects involved and making sure that our community remains safe,” Police Chief Allen Banks said.
