Thank you for giving

Volunteers of America of Florida recently announced that they have received a grant in the amount of $20,000 from America’s Warrior Partnership Community Integration, a non-profit organization whose purpose is to identify and support community-level agencies that provide holistic services to veterans.

This grant has been awarded in response to a nomination by Panhandle Warrior Partnership, with whom Volunteers of America of Florida will be collaborating to provide housing, electricity, moving expenses, and tools for employment services to veterans.

The Volunteers of America of Florida, Pensacola Program is a Grant Per Diem, Transitional Housing Program that serves homeless veterans. In addition to housing, the program provides support services to include behavioral health services as well as job training, education and employment services.
